TORAMARU is located a short walk from Toyama Castle. It is an izakaya (Japanese tapas bar) that features charcoal grilled seafood and meats. There is also a menu for sashimi. And it is known for a few items like the Beef Tendon Stew, Potato Salad, Cheese Tofu, Crab Rice, and a few more. Twhere is also an extensive drink list with sake from different regions to Sangria to Shochu... This place is a lot of fun. There were a lot of young couples (20s, 30s) and people kept coming in. It was packed the whole time we were there. The sashimi was fresh. And all the tapas plates were delicious... some a fusion of east and west. Hip izakaya for the young. I truly enjoyed this place. No parking, however, so come by tram. And better to come as a couple or very small group as the place is not big.
とらまるは居酒屋です。たくさん飲み物があります。有名な品は焼き物(イワシ、ノドグロ、大海老、鮭、鶏もも)、刺身、牛とろ煮込み、ポテトサラダ、チーズ豆腐、カニ飯、などです。たくさん若者がいました。楽しい居酒屋です。
