Located at the edge of Shinminato Fisherman's Wharf is a small shop that's quite well-known to locals. KITOKITO SHOKUDO is a semi-self-service restaurant. You go up to the cashier to order and pay first. You get a number, and when yours meal is ready, your number will be called. The fish is all fresh from the day's catch, and so it is only open from morning until late lunch. The sashimi set is the most popular, followed by the many kinds of sashimi rice bowls. If you order any of the sets, you get rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, and your choice of two side dishes. The side dishes are quite generous, actually. Just remember that some side dishes tastes better if you use the nearby microwave to heat it up. Sometimes, there are specials when a fish is in season. The udon is 200 yen for big eaters who will need more carbohydrates! Fresh seafood in a charming little local restaurant.
きときと食堂は新湊にある小さな店です。半分セルフサービスでした。最初はレジで払います。セットメニューの場合、冷蔵庫からつまみを自分で取ります。魚は新鮮です。刺身定食は人気ですが、丼物も人気です。たくさん食べれる人は小うどんも200円で注文できます。地元に人気な店です。
