Food Traditional Tempura for over 80 years
A dough made simply by mixing the highest quality domestic flour with water and plenty of eggs. Specially blended sesame oil. Fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables. Our proud Tempura, which has been made with care over the past 80 years since our founding, is lightly battered and has a crispy, light texture and freshly fried flavor. There are two types of tentsuyu. The light and dry flavor brings out the aroma of the soup stock. The sweet flavor made with dark soy sauce is perfect for kakiage! Salt from Awaji Island is also available.

Therefore, we pay particular attention to the freshness of our ingredients. Our fresh fish and fresh vegetables are carefully selected according to the season from over 200 types of Tempura noodles available each year. Vegetable Tempura, which we now take for granted, was called ``shojin-age'' and was looked down upon, but the first owner of the restaurant said, ``There's nothing that can't be made into Tempura,'' so he served it without any problem, and it was well-received and continues to this day.

Showa 3. The roots of Hageten are Takara, which was opened by the first owner, Tokunoharu Watanabe, in Kudan, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Due to its reputation, we were asked to open a store in Ginza, and soon we moved to the current location of our main store, where we received many customers. The current owner is the third generation. The first owner had slightly thinning hair, and despite the name of the restaurant being ``Takara,'' he was nicknamed ``Hageten, the Tempura.'' When we expanded to Ginza, we took the plunge and decided to use the name ``Hageten.''
