Nagoya Cochin chickens are raised slowly, taking about three times as long as broilers, and are given plenty of exercise, allowing the natural flavor of the chicken to be concentrated. The reddish, moderately firm meat is full-bodied and has a strong flavor, making it known as the king of local chickens! Oku-Mikawa chickens are healthy chickens raised in the great outdoors of Mikawa. They don't have the typical chicken smell, and the flavor really stands out!
