昨晩は Zimmer Biomet という世界第3位の歯科インプラントメーカーの勉強会が名古屋駅前の会議室であり、勉強会後は近所のビルの6階の居酒屋で懇親会があった。勉強会は午後の7時スタートで懇親会が始まったのは午後10時くらいだったが、店内は満席で、かなりの人気店のようだ。
店は入り口で靴を脱いで上がる構造だが、掘りごたつ式なので正座やあぐらの必要は無いので楽だ。飲み放題コースにはワインもあったので私はひたすら赤ワインを飲んだが、まあ、飲めない程不味いワインでは無かった。料理は写真のように豆腐、サラダ、刺身、などなどで、どれもなかなか美味しい。食べログで値段を確認すると、そんなに高い料金ではなさそうだ。
まあ、流行っている飲食店の共通点だが、値段と料理の美味しさのバランス、人が集まる空間としての利便性、交通の便の良さなど、当たり前と言えば当たり前だが、この店が流行っているのは、これらがバランスよく優れているからだと思う。逆に言うと立地が悪いなどの場合は、その欠点を上回るだけの魅力という武器がなければ繁盛店を維持し続けるのは難しいのだと思う。
