今回愛知に行ったのは、岡崎でもろこしうどんを食べるためでした。しかし、日曜だったし、「どうする家康」が放送されているからか岡崎は観光客が大勢いて、岡崎公園前駅の有名うどん屋さんは３０人以上が行列してました。かれこれ１時間くらい付近をぶらぶらして再チャレンジしてみましたが、行列は減る気配はなくあきらめて宿をとった名古屋に向かった。
名古屋に着いたのは２時過ぎでターミナルで迷ってしまったが、歩き回ってこちらのお店に行きついた。うな重まぶしの看板をみて迷わず入ってしまった。うな重まぶしとビールを注文。ビールを飲んでしばし待つ。供されたうな重まぶしはご丁寧に食べ方の書かれたペーパー付でした。要はカットされていないうな重をひつまぶしのように食べるスタイル。うな重は柔らかいのでカットされてなくても匙で細断できて、まず四等分してうなぎをそのまま飯に乗せて食う、薬味を乗せて食う、出汁をかけて茶漬け風に食い、最後はお好みでとペーパーに書かれてました。私はひつまぶしはやはり出汁をかけて食うのが一番好きで、４つ目は出汁をかけて食べたが、出汁の量が少なくて、ちょっと残念。でも思いがけず、名古屋でひつまぶし（風のもの）が食べられて満足しました。
