March 2024 Visit to "Sushi Gonzaemon" Gonzaemon is popular in Fushimi. I was curious and went there. They said it opens at 11:30, so I arrived 5-6 minutes early. When I entered the restaurant, I was still standing. I had to wait (lol) I guess all the staff members were doing their best to prepare before the store opened. Everyone was very excited! ? It's difficult to coordinate visit times if they start all at the same time. Today, I ordered a lunch course for ¥5,500. Since the restaurant had just opened, the sushi rice was so hard that it fell apart. Even when I put it in my mouth, there was no sense of unity between the toppings and the shari. I like hard sushi, but in the second half I felt that the sushi wasn't as hard.The cut of the toppings seemed to be thin, so I couldn't really feel the flavor of the sushi.This is a cheap stand-up sushi restaurant. Is it the same feeling as cutting sashimi? ? The flavor of the red dashi stock seemed to be lacking.
