I had lunch in an office area on a weekday. I entered this store around 1pm. I arrived in time for the daily lunch. The store was still quite crowded. The daily specials on this day were mapo tofu and fried chicken (850 yen). 2 large fried chicken pieces. Comes with salad, egg soup, pickled vegetables, and almond tofu. It was authentic mapo tofu with a strong numbing sensation from the Japanese pepper rather than the spiciness from the chili pepper. Now, 850 yen feels like a great deal. After finishing my meal, I looked around the restaurant and saw Chinese masks displayed on the walls. It was a beautiful mask, but I have no idea what it was about. This is a restaurant where you can expect other menu items as well. Thank you for the meal.
