土用の丑の日！というわけでもなかったのですが、昨今の猛暑にあてられ「これは鰻でも食べないとやってられません」ということで入店。大須商店街の中ほどにある人気店です。内観、外観共に歴史を感じる見た目ですが、鰻を食べるにはそれが良いですね。周りを見渡すとひつまぶしを注文されている方が多かったのですが、今回久々に鰻重を食べてみたい！ということで奮発して鰻重にしました。いざ提供されて開けてみるとやはり一面に敷き詰められたうなぎはこちらが求めていた「これぞ鰻重」の見た目で、香りも良かったです。味は美味しかったのですが、ちょっとだけ個人的に残念だったのは、鰻が外サク！中フワトロというよりかは、ひつまぶしの鰻のように全体的にサクっとした食感で、中のフワトロ感が求めていたほど無かったかな…というところ。これは好みによるところなので、そんな鰻が食べたい方、また、駅前の激混みひつまぶし店を避けて大須商店街巡るついでにひつまぶし食べたい方にはぴったりのお店かなと思います。ごちそうさまでした！
