This is Daime, a shochu specialty store located in Oimachi, Naka Ward. I've always been interested in this store because it's next door to my favorite Bagels specialty store, Maru Bagels. However, I don't really drink shochu, so I was wondering what it was like, so I stopped by at the second store. Is there a counter and a tatami room in the back? table? It seems that there is. It's a wonderful, calming space. I was seated at the counter. I'm really surprised at how many different types of shochu there are. The area behind the counter is filled with shochu. Apparently they also have some very rare shochu. The owner was very kind, so when I told him that I didn't know anything about shochu, he offered me easy-to-drink shochu and rare shochu in a way that suited me, so I had a lot of fun! Of course, beer and highballs are available (*^^*) I had a rare sweet potato shochu called Flamingo, which had a fruity taste similar to wine, and was very easy to drink and delicious. I was a little surprised because it was completely different from the potato shochu I was used to. The chef is from Kyushu, so the main dishes seem to be from Kyushu. I wasn't able to eat much of the second one, but the snacks that go well with shochu are good. The miso soup served at the end will melt into your stomach and leave you feeling relieved! The part-time workers were also very supervised and it was a very nice shop. It was delicious. It was a feast!
