Honnori-ya is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in Chiyoda, Naka-ku, Nagoya, near Tsurumai Station. I spent my student days there, so I discovered Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Tsurumai, a very nostalgic place for me. There are shochu and Japanese sake bottles lined up outside, making for a strange sight. I entered the store, worried that a drunk customer might kick it and break it. (Thank you for your help.) Reservations are made on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. There weren't many customers at the time, but more customers started coming in after that, and the place quickly filled up. The store's frontage is narrow, but it's spacious in the back. As you enter the entrance, there are counter seats lined up in rows at the back, and further back there are several seats with sunken kotatsu tables where you can take off your shoes. We were shown to seats at the horigotatsu table in the back. After taking a seat, we first ordered an assortment of sashimi and fried corn from the recommended menu. Cheers with beer and sake while waiting for your food. ...I ordered 1 go of Japanese sake, but it seemed like it was a little small... [Is this 1 go? 】 I asked, but I cheerfully answered ``Yes! ], so I didn't pursue it any further. While doing so, the food arrived. The freshness of the sashimi is great. Shima mackerel, mackerel, and seasonal fish are delicious. It even comes with raw sea urchin and raw whitebait. This is a hit item. And fried corn! This is also delicious! ! ! When you bite into it, the fluffy sweetness spreads throughout your mouth. The light sprinkle of salt tightens the flavor and goes perfectly with beer. After that, I additionally ordered crab cream Croquette, beef tendon stew in miso, and mirin-dried sandfish, and I couldn't go wrong with any of them. In particular, the crab cream Croquette was a rich and delicious Croquette with crunchy crab meat. It was a nice Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with good taste and good cost performance. Thank you for the meal!
