Featured in the Michelin Guide, Kinboshi was founded in Imaike in 1992 as a counter-style yakitori restaurant. The restaurant is located within walking distance of Imaike Station and Ikeshita Station |
I stayed overnight hoping to relax in a nearby sauna. After working up a good sweat, I thought I'd have a beer, and when I say beer, I think it goes well with Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), so I went to this restaurant. I think it would be full if I went early, but it was a little late, even though it was a Friday, so I was lucky to be able to get in. The skin and guts were delicious, and of course the beer after the sauna was also irresistible. The ginkgo and lamb Grilled skewer were also delicious, but Grilled skewer with various parts of Nagoya Cochin chicken skewered on one stick were particularly delicious.
