土曜日の13時すぎ、池下で家族でランチ。
最初に狙いをつけたイタリアンの店は、私達の直前に若い女子の4人組が入店、広くない店内は「密」状態なので断念する。
すぐ近くのこちらは、空いていて、このご時世コロナ対策を優先してこちらに決める。
ゆったりとした4人掛けテーブルに通される。
ほかのテーブルとはロールカーテンの間仕切りで仕切ってくれるの安心だ。
昼の時間は、大将のワンオペのよう。
1200円のすしランチをお願いする。
内容は、小鉢、茶碗蒸し、にぎり6貫、玉子焼き、細巻1/2、デザートとメニューにある。
しばらくして小鉢が出される。
オクラの胡麻和えのようだが、オクラがクタクタ。
胡麻和えの味はよろしいが、何ともオクラの食感が…
冷凍のオクラなのか。なにもこの時期にオクラを出さなくてもいいのに。
疑問が残る小鉢だった。
次は、小ぶりな茶碗蒸し。
熱々で味はいいが、具がさみしい。
椎茸に蒲鉾一枚、百合根と見間違う烏賊が数片。
にぎりの皿が登場。
烏賊、マグロ赤身、ハマチ、鯛、玉子焼き、甲烏賊下足、いなり、干瓢胡瓜巻の内容。
甲烏賊の下足が良かったかな。
あとは、至って普通。悪くはないが印象に残らない。
デザートの黒胡麻のムースは、美味かった。
これがいちばん良かった。
1200円のランチにあれこれ言うのは、野暮だけどコスパなのか、味と質で勝負なのかどっちつかずで中途半端な印象を受けた。
店は落ち着いて食事が出来るいい雰囲気だし、大将の人柄も良さそうなので、もう少し高くても「オッと」言うようなネタを織り交ぜて、印象に残るようなランチにして欲しいと思った。
そうすれば夜にも行ってみようかと云うものだ。
