週末のランチに訪問。
今池と池下の間にあるホルモン焼肉店。近所のクリニック帰りにピンで立ち寄り。以前から知っていて興味はあったのだが、今池と池下の間でアクセス良いとはいえずなかなか立ち寄る機会がなかった。店舗は店のサインのほか、「精肉直売所」の看板がかけられ、外扉から店舗建物へ入ると風除スペース、そこに精肉店にあるような陳列冷蔵ケースがあり、精肉の販売もしているようである。陳列ケースを横目で見ながら午後1時に入店すると店内の先客はゼロ。少し嫌な予感を抱きつつも店員さんに案内され着席。初めて来店というと入場料金制やライス/スープ/カレーが食べ放題の説明を受ける。そんなシステムを事前に知っていたら入店してなかったかもしれないのだが。メニューはシステムのせいか安く抑えられている。ホルモン系は、とんちゃん、豚レバーが105円、コブクロ410円、丸チョウ378円、メガ盛り(3人前)950円など、赤身系は牛タン518円、牛ハラミ410円、カルビ313円、豚トロ321円など。
入場料1,080円のほか、牛タン518円、牛ハラミ410円、ホルモンメガ肉盛り950円、サンチュ194円を発注。ドリンクはエビスビール410円、焼酎ロック270円をお供に。
牛タン、牛ハラミは精肉店のものというより食べ放題焼肉チェーンで出てくるような品質。そしてホルモンメガ肉盛りは布でいえば端切れの集合体、小さな肉片が多くて焼きにくいし余り新鮮さも感じない。そして決定的なのは、ガスコンロの圧倒的な火力不足。店員さんにも確認してもらったのだが、最強の火力でもなかなか肉が焼けない。システムは面白いけれど消費者のニーズには余り響かないのではないか。ごちそうさま。
