I had two drinking parties in quick succession after payday, and even though it was the beginning of the month, I was starting to feel sad about what was in my wallet. However, I am hopeful that I will be able to save money and go out for lunch for a while. However, I don't like spending my pocket money too easily, so today I decided to make a reservation through Tabelog and go to a place where I can pay with points. The restaurant I made a reservation for several days in advance was an Okonomiyaki / Teppan-yaki restaurant called "Papepo" in the Imaike area. This is a valuable restaurant that opens from noon and allows reservations for just one person. Reservation time is 11:45 AM. We arrived at "Papepo" on time. Two doors down is the impressive Misen Imaike Main Store, which is a symbol of the Imaike area, but it is quiet during lunchtime. Judging by how crowded it has been since it opened, I don't think I'll ever have the chance to go there. When I introduced myself as ``Reservation...'', the staff guided me to a corner seat at the counter. Even though I was the only one there, there was a sign that said ``RESERVED'', and I felt a little embarrassed. I had already decided on the menu to order, so I ordered the ``Yaki Udon Set Meal (900 yen)'' with miso. The shop is run by two people: my husband, who is about the same age as me, and a girl who works part-time (?). If you're talking while you work, it's probably a good working environment. The interior of the restaurant is somewhat minimal, with 4 tables for 4 people and 5 counter seats. One of the four-person tables is a self-service corner, and it seems that they will clean it up and use it at night. I thought so because there was a luggage basket under the table. From the counter seat where I was sitting, there was a TV hanging on the wall at a good angle, and I guess it's Sports Bar-like place where everyone gets excited at night. I wonder what the atmosphere is like at night. The owner is cooking the udon noodles right in front of you, but unfortunately you can't watch him from the counter. Miso soup and Small dish (cold tofu) were served as a delicious smell gradually drifted in, and a few minutes later, the fried udon noodles were handed to me. that? Before I asked about the rice, I looked at the menu and it said it was self-service. It seems that the first drink is not automatically provided. It made sense that he wanted me to eat it directly from the rice cooker on the table behind me, so I got some rice and a raw egg as well. Let's have it♪♪ First, let's start with the obligatory miso soup warm-up. The ingredients for the miso soup, which seems to be made with mixed miso, are quite simple, and I feel like it only had Mitsuba. I'm sorry that I drank all the warm miso soup in one go, probably because I was craving salt, and I can't remember the contents very well. I also sprinkled soy sauce on the cold tofu and ate it in one bite. Next, let's move on to the main dish, ``Yaki Udon.'' "Yaki udon" comes with a fried egg by default. The yolk remains moderately soft and plump. When I received it, I chose the miso flavor, but it didn't have as much miso flavor as I expected, and it felt a little bland. I had been imagining Kameyama's specialty, miso-yaki udon, so it was as if I had been given a false impression. (I said this in an airy manner, but in reality, I hadn't eaten Kameyama miso-yaki udon...) However, there were plenty of vegetables, and I enjoyed the texture of the cabbage, bean sprouts, and carrots. The bonito flakes and tenkasu add flavor and richness, creating a light yet delicious taste. Udon has a soft texture that makes it easy to eat regardless of age, and it's even more delicious when you eat it while dipping it in the yolk of a fried egg. I couldn't help but smile. Oops...I have to get some TKG before the fried udon comes to an end. For cold tofu, add a generous amount of soy sauce to dissolve the egg, mix it with the rice, and stir it all in. I thought about the fried eggs, but I'm sure they use high-quality eggs. The size is also large, probably available in L size. Of course, one bowl wasn't enough, so I ended up receiving 2...3...4 TKG cups. If you add fried eggs, you'll end up using 5 eggs. It's full of carbohydrates and protein, giving you a belly pan. Thank you for the meal. Payment is made from points. It was a satisfying lunch that didn't hurt my wallet. The price of eggs has come down a little since then, but they still continue to rise. I am grateful for the restaurant's policy and the owner's idea of offering an all-you-can-eat raw egg service even under such circumstances.
