Higashi-ku, Nagoya 《Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Kappo QUON》 I went to QUON, Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Kappo restaurant that I had been planning to go to with a friend for some time! QUON's Yakiniku (Grilled meat) style is similar to Matsuda's, a restaurant in Nara that I love. The owner is Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Asahi, who seems to have opened a new type of restaurant, and when it first opened, it was fully booked, so I had a hard time getting there, but finally I was able to come. Two men came to the seats for the 20:00 start of the second rotation. There were only couples around, but not two old men...The seats were only at the slightly deformed counter, in the style of a top-order roaster. The owner who runs the store is still young and is a little reserved when serving customers, but that adds to the good atmosphere. This time I made a reservation: ◇ Yakiniku (Grilled meat) QUON course 10,000 yen Appetizer ⚫︎ Mikawa beef sirloin, grilled yukhoe ⚫︎ Heart sashimi, ginger ⚫︎ Cheek meat sashimi, green onion mustard, bowl ⚫︎ Meat-sucking Yakiniku (Grilled meat) ⚫︎ Cow tongue crosswise, best salted kelp ⚫︎ Cow tongue vertical chopped fresh pepper Pickled in salt ⚫︎Sabuton and grated green onions for a treat ⚫︎Stewed Wagyu beef tendon and herb Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Yakiniku ⚫︎Wagyu Techan Rub with salt and dip in a sugar-soy sauce-like sauce ⚫︎Wagyu sagari ⚫︎Mikawa beef sirloin Sukiyaki rice ⚫︎Rice pot rice QUON blended rice Sweetness ⚫︎ Today's dessert Panna cotta This is delicious, it's smooth and the sauce has a slightly sour taste that goes well with it. I didn't feel it was as cost effective as Mr. Matsuda's, but the seasoning was delicious to my liking. If you're going to serve clay pot rice with white rice, you'll want to eat it with meat. Or maybe it would be a good idea to serve a variety of things to accompany the rice. It might also be interesting to use seasoned rice in a clay pot. It was a feast.
