We visited Shiradama, a kaiseki restaurant located in Kamiida Nishimachi, Kita Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is about a 2-minute walk from Kamiida Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Kamiida Line, and about a 25-minute taxi ride from Nagoya Station. It is convenient for cars as there is a shared parking lot for 20 spaces. Inside the restaurant, you can feel the Edo period atmosphere, and the completely private rooms create a calm atmosphere. There are 100 seats, and the private rooms include chairs and sunken kotatsu seats. I think it can be used in a wide variety of situations, such as family meals, business dinners, and entertaining business associates. This time, we had the recommended dinner course ~Night Seat~ Bamboo (21,780 yen). The contents of the course are appetizer (cold appetizer), mata (warm appetizer), mukozuke (sashimi), wanmori (soup such as Shinjo), yaki (grilled fish such as Saikyo-yaki), and hassun (appetizers of mountain and sea food). platters), bowls (cooked vegetables), dishes (Anjo beef, etc.), Small dish (refreshing dishes), tomono (Noodles such as soba), rice (Mugitoro rice and pickled vegetables), sweets (fruit), sweets ( Homemade sweets and matcha). You can enjoy a total of 12 dishes, from appetizers to sweets. The dishes were carefully prepared to bring out the flavors of the ingredients, and the presentation was gorgeous and beautiful. The dishes were all made with special care and were very delicious. At Kaiseki Shiradama, you can enjoy tea-style hospitality and seasonal meals in a traditional Edo-style inn that still evokes the atmosphere of the castle town of the Owari domain, one of the three major families of the Tokugawa clan. In Nagoya, where the tea ceremony is popular, it is loved by many tea masters and cherishes the spirit of tea kaiseki. You can enjoy your meal while feeling the quiet history in the quaint tea room and shoin-zukuri style rooms. The seasonal dishes, made with seasonal ingredients, are rich in color and have delicate flavors that will leave you deeply moved. If I have a chance, I would like to visit you again. thank you very much!
