Founded in 1965! "Yadakatsu" is a famous miso katsu restaurant that represents Nagoya and is a long-established restaurant.
Our secret miso and sauce are made using the same recipe since the restaurant first opened! The owner personally checks the pork before purchasing it at the butcher! For our value lunch, we use Kagosh |
栄町から10分ほどの大曽根駅近く、徒歩5分程度のところにあるとんかつ屋さん。開店時間の11:30についたところ、すでに20人以上列ができていた。この日は近くで野球の試合があったためか、グループ利用も多く1時間半ほど待つことに。事前に注文を聞かれたので、味噌かつロース定食(上)のご飯大盛りをセレクト。並と上があるので違いを聞いたところ、量と使ってる部位が違い、上の方が柔らかめとのこと。
ようやく店内に入るとカウンター席へ案内された。かつを揚げる音とキャベツを切る音を聞きながら待っていると、待望の味噌かつが目の前にやって来た。テーブルにはごま塩とゆかりがあり、とんかつ×ごま塩ご飯が好きな私には嬉しいサービス。
味噌かつはやはり赤味噌を使っているため、特有の風味を感じつつも、肉の味とバランスがよく取れており、食べるごとにはまっていく。そしてかつにはしっかり味噌だれがかかっているにも関わらず、衣はザクザクとした食感が残っていて楽しい。次回は自家製ソースを使ったソースかつも食べてみたい。
