名鉄七宝駅前にあった旧店舗へは来店歴はなく、今回移転リニューアルした新店舗が「かわかみ」初来店になります。端末オーダーや配膳ロボット導入などかなり斬新なシステムです。
タレントさんのサイン色紙が並び、天井広く木目キレイな店内です。間仕切りされた6人掛けテーブル席に案内されました。奥側には座敷とお手洗いがあります。駐車場は以前より台数が確保され、休日前の夜ながらにかなりにぎやかです。居酒屋というよりちょっとカジュアルながらに上品さも持った和食料理屋な雰囲気があります。
メニュー情報が事前確認できなかったために、今回のお試し来店に際してはかなり抑制かけてメニュー選びしました。ノンアルコールビールと刺身盛り合わせ(並)は税込み1947円となりました。サービス料はここでは取らないようです。どんぶり物や雑炊、揚げ物や焼き物煮物と種類豊富です。鰻丼もあります。本日のおすすめを見ると、岩手産かきなど旬の海鮮が並びます。
お刺身は厚めに切られており、これなら食べ応えあります。結局はビールと刺身しか食べてないですが、当然ながらひとりで欲張ってオーダーしてしまうと高額になるのは明らかです。情報として聞いていたネガティブイメージはワタシのなかでは特段感じませんでした。何かしら使えそうです。美味しく楽しめてごちそうさまでした。
