I was driving on Route 19 from Nagoya towards Tajimi, and when I entered Kasugai city, I thought "I know, let's go to that restaurant next to the city hall..." and decided to visit this restaurant. It is a popular restaurant well known among the people around the city hall and JR Kasugai station. I had known about the restaurant for a while, but this was my first visit. The restaurant has the appearance of a "Japanese Cuisine", and the double entrance that opens to the side so you can't see inside gives it a slightly high-class atmosphere... It was a little past peak time, so there were still quite a few seats taken, but I was guided to a table seat. The lunch menu includes rice bowls and set meals that start at around 1000 yen and look delicious... I was a little hesitant, but I ordered the "Kuroshio Lunch Set (1100 yen)" which seemed to have a lot to offer. The "Unagi Hitsumabushi Set" was a good value at 1628 yen, which attracted me. There were also people ordering nearby. Apparently they are particular about using real tuna, and even hold a "tuna cutting show" once a month, so there is a menu called "Real Tuna Set" (1,380 yen excluding tax?), which may be worth trying. Then the luxurious meal arrived, with a tray full of dishes. The sashimi was "red sea bream" and "yellowtail". It tasted fresh. I was also happy to see the rare "lotus potato" served with it... The standard vegetable and shrimp tempura were fried nicely and crispy, and there was nothing left over... The mackerel was "Yuan Yaki (soy sauce-based dipping sauce)". This was also a good amount and delicious... The "chawanmushi" was also a delicious dish with all the standard ingredients. I was impressed by how each dish was carefully and deliciously prepared. And at such a reasonable price... I think I understand why it's so popular. After me, more and more customers arrived one after another. There will be a "Morning Market" and "Bluefin Tuna Cutting Show" on the irregular holidays of July 22nd (Thursday) and 23rd (Friday). From 9:00 a.m. There is a parking lot in front of the store, but there is also a parking lot for 18 cars behind the store (southeast, opposite the city hall).
