I had some grilled squid.
I went in for dinner. The 150 yen plates have increased, and the 100 yen plates are mostly poor-looking. The Hamayaki-style squid is on the 100 yen plate. It's lightly seared and topped with mayonnaise. It's probably unorthodox for Sushi, but I liked it quite a bit and enjoyed it.
I had fatty tuna.
I had dinner at Kappa Sushi for the first time in a while. The portions seemed smaller overall, but the taste wasn't bad. I had ark shell, which looked so thin I wondered what it was, but when I ate it, it was definitely ark shell. The fatty tuna was 150 yen per piece. It was a little watery, but it was thick and I think 150 yen is a great value.
カツオフライにぎりいただきました
夕飯に入りました。カツオフライというメニューがあり、カツオフライにぎりのマヨ付きをオーダーしました。なかなか立派な大きさのネタです。フライにはウスターソースがかかり、マヨがのってます。フライ自体は美味しかったのですが、ウスターソースと酢飯の組み合わせは、私はあまり美味しいとは思えませんでした。サイドメニューでフライ単品がお勧めです。
サーモンのちゃんちゃん焼きいただきました
北海道ネタが期間限定ネタで登場していました。その中からサーモンのちゃんちゃん焼きにぎりいただきました。ちゃんちゃん焼は炙った味噌が香ばしくて美味しかったのですが、酢飯とはあいません。ちゃんちゃん焼は単品のおつまみがお勧めだと思います。
さばしそまきいただきました
夕飯に伺いました。寒ブリ、いか天、鮮エビ等いただきました。この日いちばん美味しかったのは、さばしそまきでした。シメサバと大葉、ガリの中巻きです。具沢山とは言えない巻き寿司ですが、大葉とガリがさばを引き立て美味しくいただきました。
寒ブリいただきました
夕飯でかっぱ寿司へ。茶わん蒸しからいただきました。茶わん蒸しは具はもの足りませんが出汁はよく利いていました。松前漬けあん肝などいただきましたが、この時期はブリですね。肉厚で歯応えもある寒ブリがいちばん美味しかったです。
ひかりもの三貫いただきました
何年ぶりかでかっぱ寿司で夕飯いただきました。オール100円の頃しか知らなかったので、全体的に美味しくなっていてびっりしました。特に美味しかったのは、あん肝とひかりもの三貫。しっかりしたあん肝にポン酢ジュレがよくあっていて、美味しくいただきました。ひかりもの三貫は鯖が(回転ずしにしては)しっかり厚みがあり、はさんであるガリでさっぱりといただけましす。イワシはよく脂がのっていましたし、アジは少し小振りでしたが、食感がよく美味しくいただきました。

I went in just after 5pm on a Monday. It was still empty and there was only one person in the dining area, but it didn't seem like a big deal. However, it was full by 5:30pm, probably because of the summer holidays, and the dining area was clearly overwhelmed. I ordered eggplant tempura on the tablet, but when the eggplant tempura sushi came, I pressed the button to call the waiter, but there was no response, so I called out when I got close.
