Aichi Prefecture is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in front of JR Kasugai Station, and a fish restaurant that serves set meals at lunchtime. The smell of a paper factory hits you the moment you get off the station. As a former employee of a certain paper factory, it's a nostalgic and traumatic smell. Pulling yourself together, you search for a place to eat lunch, and there don't seem to be many restaurants near the station. You head into a fish restaurant that catches your eye. Of the two daily specials, you choose the fried swordfish set meal. It's served in a few minutes. It's a pretty sumptuous set with fried swordfish, assorted sashimi, and red miso soup. The fried swordfish has a light taste, and if it was served to you as fried chicken, you would never know it was fried chicken. The sashimi was also a good assortment of tuna, amberjack, and sea bream, all of which were high quality fish. And it's been a while since I had red miso soup! In the Kanto region, they never serve red miso soup with set meals. It was quite nice. Thank you for the meal.
