この日、静岡県の某会社に出向中の元同僚が半期の業務報告で、
自社に戻って来ておりました。
この日が部長報告で、翌日が役員報告。
翌日まで愛知に居るのなら、
久し振りに飲みに行こうと言う話になりました。
いきなりの当日なので、参加者を募るのも苦労しましたが、
何とか4人集まり開催決定です。
場所は、JR共和駅より徒歩4分の「炉ばた焼 いろり」です。
元同僚を含む参加者2人の自宅の最寄り駅がJR共和駅だったので決めました。
開店前のお店に電話して18時からの予約を取ろうと思ったのですが、
現在、予約は受けていないとの事。
でも、「18時からなら席は取れる」と仰って頂きました。
「いろり」は私が新入社員の頃、寮の先輩に連れて行った貰ったお店です。
今から30年以上前の話です。
それから、お店には行っておらず、今回が2回目になります。
その頃は「炉ばた焼」ではなかったような気もしますが…。
お料理は概ねハズレは無かったかと思います。
美味しかったのは、先ずぼんじりの串焼きですね。
ぼんじりとは鶏のお尻の部位で脂がのっているのが特徴。
でも、ここのぼんじりは肉の部分も多めに付いていて、
しっかりとした噛み心地有り、
今まで私が味わったものとは一線を画すものが有りました。
それから、手羽先餃子も美味しかったです。
お店の方は「餡から自家製」と自慢気に仰ってましたが、
業務用の餡がそれだけ多いって事なのでしょうか。
6時から飲み始めたのですが、積もる話が盛り上がって、
お店の方から「そろそろラストオーダー」の声が掛かるまで粘っちゃいました。
時間にして4時間半。
各々翌日は仕事が有るので、2次会には突入せず、ここで締めました。
