Lunch at Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Gentai, a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) house in Handa City. I found this restaurant by googling Tabelog. The restaurant is located on the left side of the road after the signal intersection at Midorigaoka 5-chome, heading toward Takahama from the Agui IC on the Chita Peninsula Road. There is a counter at the entrance, and the back of the restaurant is hidden from view. The lunch menu includes mixed set meal, kalbi set meal, Cow tongue set meal, and special lunch set. I ordered the mixed set meal without leeks. The mixed set meal includes five kinds of beef: halami, hatsu, pork loin, seseri, mino, and vegetables. It was naive to think that for 1,500 yen all you could get was beef. All the meats were delicious. The counter by the entrance was quite cold today because of the snow, with the wind blowing against the counter every time the door opened. On a cold day, it would be best to have rice and soup brought at the end of the meal.
