豊橋泊まりだった時にホテルに近く、地元の方にここが良いと予約してもらって連れて行っていただいた居酒屋。豊橋名産のちくわが有名のヤマサ直営店。落ち着いた雰囲気の店で、ふたりで来てもある程度の人数で来ても良い感じの店で大人気のようだ。
名物は卓上の炭火コンロで竹のちくわを自分でクルクル回して焼いて、焼けたところを串で刺しながら食べる握りちくわ。それと豚角煮入りこってり味噌おでん。人気の名物らしくほぼ皆んなが食べてる。あとは練り物や三河産？の魚介類も美味しく頂けて、駅近で一番混んでる意味がわかる。ご馳走さま。
ここで食べた練り物も美味しかったので、帰りに豊橋駅でヤマサ特選ちくわとはんぺんを買って帰った。
