I went to "Tomoe-an" which I was interested in. This restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Toyohashi Station, and is a Japanese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) based on the concept of local production for local consumption and a sense of the season. I received this business card at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Toyokawa some time ago, and it took a year and a half, but it was my long-awaited first visit. We will check to make sure there are seats available before the store opens and visit you as soon as it opens. The interior of the restaurant has a clean, wood-grained interior, and the seats are well spaced apart, creating a cozy atmosphere that leaves a very positive impression. Then, enjoy your food and drinks slowly in a corner of the counter. [b:[Food and drinks we received on this day] 《Cooking》 ◇Straw-grilled Souda Bonito ◇Sashimi of natural mackerel (half) ◇Potato salad ◇Steamed octopus ◇Otoshi (cooked scallops) 《Alcohol》 ◇ Medium bottle of beer (Akaboshi) ◇Cold sake (Kanhokuto Special Junmai Namazake) ◇Hot sake (Nanbu Bijin Honjozo Dry)] First, while drinking beer with appetizers and potato salad, read the menu and order the food and alcohol that interest you. . We mainly had fish dishes and tried some famous sake from Fukuoka and Iwate, but all the dishes made with carefully selected ingredients were delicious and went well with the sake. The dishes and decorations are very tasteful and you can really feel the owner's care. It's also great that all of the sashimi tsumamono are locally produced. It was my first visit to the restaurant, but they served me half-sized sashimi and gave me some hidden sake that wasn't on the menu, making me enjoy my time in a selfish way. The recommended course meals are great, but the best part of this place is to choose the dishes you're interested in a la carte and enjoy chatting with the friendly owner while watching the craftsmanship behind the counter. Although the appearance is very luxurious, I was very satisfied with this wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy solid Japanese Cuisine at a reasonable price. While I'm happy to have one more favorite Japanese Cuisine restaurant, I'm also worried that I'll have to visit more restaurants again. It's close to the station, and on weekdays they serve lunch featuring soba noodles, so if you're interested, why not make a reservation before you visit?
