大曲駅前のホテル”富士ホテル”内にある定食屋さん。
店頭の”大曲のB級グルメ”「カレー旨麺(\630)」に惹かれ入店。
ホテルとレストランで入口が別々なので気がねなく入れます。
店内はカウンター、テーブル、座敷があるつくり。
いろいろと心惹かれるメニューがあったものの、初心を貫き前述を注文。
温かいお茶を飲みつつ、待つこと8分ほどで到着。
パッと見はカレーうどんのような見た目。
小ご飯付きで、福神漬けも添付してありました。
まずはスープを一口。
かつお出汁の甘口なスープでまさにカレーうどんそのままの味わい。
カレーは胡椒たっぷりのスパイス感のあるこれまたカレーうどんな味わい。
具は牛肉の薄切りやニンジン、玉ねぎが入っていました。
麺は平打ちの太麺でこしのないやわらかで歯切れのいいもの。
確かにラー麺だけど、うどんに似せて選んだような違和感のないものでした。
〆にはご飯をスープに投入。
サラサラっとしていてなかなかだけど、レンゲが木製で食べづらいのが難点。
ボリューム感はなかなかだけど、水分率の高いお米なようで別に食べたほうがよかったかな。
普通においしいけど馴染みがない人にはなんだか腑に落ちない一品かも。
次回はまだ未食の大曲三大？B級グルメの”カレー焼きそば”を食べてみたいです。
