祝日の夜、出張の前入りで青森の新町へ。
夜どこかで飲みたいな〜と探していたところ、祝日はなかなか空いている店がなく、こちらにたどり着きました。
念のため電話すると、津軽弁のおっとりした女性がお待ちしてます〜と優しく対応してくれました。
時間(と言っても数十分)になり伺うと、テーブルには手書きのメッセージと名前。
早速あたたかい気持ちになりました。
地酒は信じられない値段に信じられないラインナップ。
メニューが多すぎて、ラミネートした紙がリングで留められて受験生の単語カードみたいになってました。
東京では飲めなさそうなレアな田酒のひとつと瓶ビールで乾杯！(詳細失念)
田酒は爽やかで甘すぎず、青森の料理に合いそうな程よいすっきりさ。
イカメンチが売り切れで残念だったのですが、それ以外にもあらゆる青森料理を楽しみました。
中でも美味しかったのが馬刺し。臭みが全くなく、歯応えも適度で、とてもおいしかったです。馬のイメージはありませんでしたが、青森県人によると結構食べる文化があるらしいです。
わりと提供が遅かったのですが、「ごめんね、いま筋子産ませてくるでね…」「ごめんね、短足で歩くの遅くてな…」と殊勝に笑わせてくれるおかあさんがすてきで、気になりませんでした。
また、津軽弁一覧がテーブルにあり、時間潰しも充分できました。
今度はイカメンチを食べに伺いたいな。ご馳走様でした。
