人生初の八戸の夜。残念ながら雨降りで寒い。
とりあえずみろく横丁あたりをブラブラしていると「サバ」という文字が目に入りました。
なんと八戸の銀サバ専門店らしく、気になって入ってみることに。
店内はなかなかの活況ですが、ちょうどカウンターが1席空いてました。
メニューを眺めながら、とりあえずビールとプレミアム銀さば三種盛りを注文。
三種盛りは、しめ鯖、味噌しめ鯖、醤油漬けでの三種で、しめ鯖以外は味が付いているので
そのままいただけます。
お値段が高めなのは元からなのか、それとも八戸前沖さばの漁獲量が激減してるからなのか。
八戸の地酒「桃川」をチビチビやりながら、しめ鯖の味比べ。
続いて、銀さばの串焼き、さばのつくね焼き（塩）を1本ずつ注文。
銀さばの串焼きはやや塩味強めですが最高に旨い。
メニューに「さばの旨味がこの一本に全て凝縮されています」と書かれてますが、
まさにその通りの絶品の旨さ。
サバ好きの方には超オススメのお店でした。
