Today, I went out to eat with my family for the first time in a while, and it seems that my family really wanted to eat udon. We decided on Marugame Seimen. Prices have been rising recently, and tempura seems to have gone up in price quite a bit. If you order udon and about three pieces of tempura, the price will exceed 1000 yen. So it's hard to choose something that won't exceed 1000 yen (><) At first, I tried to get the limited-time Oni-oroshi pork shabu-shabu-bukkake, but it was only 800 yen for a large serving. I changed my order inside the restaurant, and it seems that the last limited-time spicy soy milk tantan is still left, so I changed it to that. It's 740 yen for a large serving, and now I can eat tempura too (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) Yay! I ordered at the reception, chilled spicy kyara.... Let me say it again, chilled spicy soy milk.... It's hard to say ( ̄∇ ̄) I'm so jealous... As expected, the staff asked me, "Chilled spicy soy milk, okay?" (о´∀`о) Sorry, it's not tasty. While I was wondering what tempura to get, the freshly fried eggplant came out. I decided on eggplant (*≧∀≦*) It was the best. The udon noodles were topped with chili oil and spicy meat miso in a slightly thick broth made from paste sesame and soy milk. When I ate it, the first thing I got was the sesame flavor and the richness of the soy milk, then the meat miso flavor and spicy spiciness came, and finally the flavor of the chili oil lingered in my mouth. It was better than I expected. I dipped the freshly fried eggplant tempura in a little broth. Since the Tempura was freshly fried, I started off with a quick bite of sesame broth Tempura, which was also quite tasty. Finally, I got Small dish of free tempura flakes and dipped the udon in it. It's like sesame udon covered with tempura flakes, and when you put it in your mouth, you get a crispy, fragrant texture. Then the sesame broth hits you. ヾ(≧▽≦)ノYummy yummy The taste was pretty good, and the udon itself is as good as always. However, it doesn't feel cheap and convenient like before. I think it's probably the price. A large serving of spicy soy milk tantan udon was 740 yen, and the eggplant tempura was 140 yen. If I had to choose, I think it would be reasonable to charge 650 yen for a large serving of this udon, and 100 yen for the eggplant tempura. That's my impression. (-_-;) That said, it wouldn't be fun if they always served cheap kamaage and kake udon. I think the restaurant is also struggling with pricing. It can't be helped. But the udon is delicious, and I'll visit again if I want to eat udon again. (*´▽`*)Gochisousama
The tempura...
It's been a while since we decided to go out to eat as a family, so we followed my son's suggestion and went to Marugame Seimen. Apparently he wanted to eat Oyster udon with thickened sauce, and he was smiling from start to finish. As for me, I usually eat soba at ○○Taro, and I often eat tempura rice, so I came here with joy to try it at this restaurant. I ordered kamaage udon and rice, and thought I'd also have chicken tempura, but I noticed that they sometimes have egg tempura. I chose this with enthusiasm, thinking that I had to top my tempura rice with it. As you can see in the picture, I topped it with tempura flakes, green onions, and sesame seeds, topped it with shichimi pepper and a little Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) bowl sauce. This time, I topped it with egg tempura, and it looked like a luxurious bowl. The kamaage udon had the usual taste, and was chewy and chewy. The luxurious bowl was very delicious with the creamy egg, crispy tempura flakes, and crunchy green onions. I had a little soup with Oyster sauce udon, but it had a mild taste and warmed both my body and soul today, during the coldest day of the year. However, the tempura was colder than expected today. I wonder if it was the effect of the cold weather. I'm sure they would have brought out freshly fried food if I asked, but to avoid food waste, I always choose the ones that are on display. I lowered the taste score a little because the tempura was cold. I hope the tempura is freshly fried next time, so I'm looking forward to it.

Marugame Seimen's "Attention to Detail"
Marugame Seimen's udon noodles are made with just these three ingredients: 100% Hokkaido flour, salt, and water. The udon noodles are boiled in a large boiling pot using the shop's noodle making machi |
Kashiwa-ten is a must, right? Today they had Spanish mackerel tempura. If you choose a variety of dishes, the tempura will cost more than 500 yen. So, when it comes to what to eat cheaply, I would like to eat udon, meat udon, Curry Udon, etc., but if you choose a variety of tempura, it will be about 1500 yen. It looks delicious, so I can't help it. So, today I had kamaage udon again (^_^;) But, it was delicious, as expected.
