This is a homey restaurant where you can enjoy mainly local seasonal fish and local sake. The counter seating is comfortable even for solo diners, allowing you to enjoy a delicious meal while enjoying |
I was invited here today. The landlady is back. I could tell from her face, but it's not something I can do anything about. There is no menu in the restaurant, so I first asked "Beer and sashimi!" After that, it was selection to the discretion of the chef. It's fine even if you just ask "What's on offer today?" The main course was stewed beef. Sashimi served. The contents were bluefin tuna, scallops, scallop string, abalone, black sea bream, cockle, and flounder with kelp. A little bit of each type. It's ideal. Of course, the freshness is outstanding. You can tell by trying the shellfish. As I was poking at the sashimi, the landlady said, "There's some good tazu (cod milt) in here." Of course I'll have that too. It's a dish I want to eat in winter. They also brought me grilled silver cod, which was delicious. It was grilled just right, without losing too much fat, and you could tell the quality of the meat. I wish the pickles, which were served at the end, had been served earlier. Maybe I should have asked "Do you have any pickles?" at the beginning. There was a bit of a break, but the food was as fresh and tasty as ever. Drinks have changed from beer to sake. There are 5 or 6 types of sake, mostly from Aomori Prefecture. I wonder if they've reduced a bit. They also have a little wine. The CP is just a step away from being in the average range. Currently 3.10 stars (5). Well, it seems you've returned after about 10 months. It's impressive that you were able to stock the ingredients so well even after a break, but please don't push yourself too hard. Take it easy.
