Sake Bars in the Chiba Station area! A wide selection of carefully selected sakes, from popular to aged.
A Japanese sake bar in the Chiba Station area. We have a wide selection of brands carefully selected by our sake sommelier. From hard-to-find trendy sake to sake that will impress connoisseurs! The lo |
The other day, while I was working overtime, I asked a female junior colleague who was working hard, "Are you tired? Do you want to go for a drink?" She said, "Yes!", so we went to this sake bar together. "[b:Sake Specialty Store Al]". It takes about 3 minutes on foot from Kayakawa Koen Station on the monorail. There are quite a few things here. There is a sake shop in the Chiba Station area nearby, "[a:12035164,NEO JAPANESE STANDARD Chiba Store]", but this is a deeper sake bar. They have a variety of sake, from popular brands to aged sake. [u:According to the staff, new sake is purchased on the 5th of every month. ]It seems that they don't always have the same thing on display, but rather they are constantly adding new ones. Of course, they may have most of the popular brands in stock (and they will sell). [u:This shop has an interesting taste, and the first floor is a slightly bright table-style interior. The second floor is a dimly lit bar style with counter seats, making it perfect for a date. Honestly, we didn't mind either, but for some reason, the first floor was closed that day, and only the bar on the second floor was open. So, strangely enough (lol), my junior and I ate snacks while drinking sake in a nice bar style. Well, as expected, it was a bit of a mystery to be a junior female of Generation Z, who is 17 years younger than me (lol), but it was valuable to hear about her thoughts and her approach to work. The turnover rate of young people is high in my company, but she seemed to have potential, so I hope she will continue to work hard... Well, it's my opinion that it's your life, so you don't have to devote yourself to the organization, so I won't stop her (lol). Anyway, I like wine, but I also like sake quite a bit♪ She said she liked beer, but she was a heavy drinker who could drink any alcohol (lol), so we both drank the same amount without any worries. [u: This is a 60ml glass. It seems that a double is 100 yen off the total price (that is, x2). In that sense, a double serving might be a good deal (lol). ]In the end, we got there late, so neither of us felt like this was enough (lol), and neither of us felt drunk at all. I had to go back to Tokyo, so I ate moderately (lol). I ordered: [b:Jikom Junmai Ginjo Yamada Nishiki Unfiltered Raw 2021 Mie 800 yen Toroki Junmai Daiginjo Fukushima 800 yen Hanayoke Unfiltered Raw Genshu Miyamanishiki Saitama 900 yen Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku Saga 700 yen] She said she liked alcohol, but she wasn't very knowledgeable about sake, so I, an old guy (lol), recommended a sake that I had tried before and found delicious, but that I couldn't drink very well. [b:Jikoma Junmai Ginjo Yamada Nishiki Unfiltered Raw 2021 Mie 800 yen Aramasa No.6 X-type Akita 1200 yen Kayoke Junmai Daiginjo Origarami Nama Genshu Miyamanishiki Saitama 800 yen Nabeshima Namasake Yamada Nishiki Saga 800 yen] I think I was drinking these. Looking at the photo (lol). [u:It's not necessarily the case that they have all of these, but I think the selection is pretty good. At least, there's a sake bar in Chiba that has so many options!! I was surprised, and I really want to go again (lol). ] Of these, I usually drink Nabeshima at home. My favorite is Jiikoma, but Kayoke had a good flavor and was delicious. I'm sure the amount of Kayoke in circulation is quite small, so it's quite expensive if you buy it normally, and there are only a limited number of stores that stock it, so it was good to be able to drink Kayoke after a long time. Aramasa is also expensive in the sense that it is rare, but it is rare to be able to drink it. I thought about drinking too, but since this was the last one, I gave it to her and ordered Toroki. I ordered Gohyakumangoku, but I thought the Nabeshima Namasake Yamada Nishiki that she was drinking was more delicious. I wondered what to eat, but they brought out an appetizer. Green vegetables and salt? And something that looked like a kind of mushroom. [u:I wonder how much the appetizer cost. I can't find the receipt, so I'm not sure, but I think it was probably 550 yen per person.]I had a heavy stomach that day (lol), so I told the young girl to order whatever she wanted! [b:Red sea bream with kombu 1000 yen, sweet shrimp marinated in soy sauce 800 yen, fried whiting 600 yen, fried potatoes with three kinds of cheese 700 yen] I ordered modestly (lol). Maybe I was being shy? [u:Personally, the red sea bream with kombu was delicious. At first I thought I would order carpaccio, but it was sold out, so I ordered this instead. It was mild and not too salty, which was nice. Both of us thought the sweet shrimp marinated in soy sauce was too salty. The fried whiting was crispy and delicious. The fried potatoes with three kinds of cheese were moist potatoes with the skin on. They are just regular potatoes. ]The food was elegant, but the portions were not large and the prices were a little high. It seemed more like a place for after-parties, so I don't think you'll get a lot of food here. I took pictures of the other menu items, but I'm a little bold. [u:I think there were baskets inside the store. I don't know if there were hangers. I don't know about the first floor, but the second floor was quite dimly lit and had a nice atmosphere, as you can see in the photo. It was a chic place with black as the main color. I think there were about two or three female staff members. When I asked them about the alcohol, I felt that they gave a fairly accurate explanation, so I don't think they were just amateurs working part-time. ]Looking at my credit card statement, the total for two people was 11,000 yen. [u:It's a rare place in the sense that you can drink a variety of your favorite alcohol, so I don't think it's expensive, but I do think the food is a little on the expensive side. ]I was personally satisfied, so I felt good about cutting my card. As I mentioned earlier, I only had the credit card statement, so although the details are a bit off, if I punched the calculator, it seems that the appetizer fee was 550 yen per person. If I had had more time, I would have liked to drink more, but I wanted to go home on the last train, so I'll call it a day. Thank you for the meal. This is irresistible for sake lovers. It seems to be relatively popular, and it was quite crowded. I think it's open quite late now, so please go.
