こっから千葉の食の魅力が見える
10年ほど前、千葉で勤務していた頃、西口界隈は大分歩き回りました。久し振りに訪れて、駅が大きく改良された東口ほどではないものの、西口も少し変わったことを感じました。見つけたこちらのお店も、当時無かったはずだな…きれいな店内です。
カウンターに案内され、メニューを眺めます。”あじなめろう定食”や、”大原地魚丼定食”など、千葉の魅力を感じさせる品々が見えます。残念ながら付いてくるフライは頂かないので、日替りの刺身定食を注文しました。後客さんの注文品などを見ると、こちらのお店では揚げ物＋刺身の組み合わせがお得なようです。
刺身はタコ・ハマチ・ヒラメ・カツオ、加えて火を通したブリが並んでいます。小鉢は変わり種豆腐でしょうか。黄色の豆腐はトウモロコシの風味で、正直、あまり千葉らしくないこの豆腐が最も印象に残りました。

Lunch time on a business trip to Chiba. I went to a fried chicken restaurant, but apparently that restaurant was closed. A member of my party showed an interest in this nearby store, so I unexpectedly decided to revisit it for the first time in six months. We had a spacious table that seats 6 people. I ordered the beef tendon stew set meal. Although it's not typical of Chiba, this beef tendon stew has quite a lot of tender beef tendon, which I like, and is very satisfying. Three types of sashimi are also included, which are also delicious. The accompanying members also seemed satisfied. Inside the store, you can see 1-sho bottles of Chiba's local sake, such as Ume Ichirin and Koshi. I guess this time I'll visit at night as it happens.
