千葉市稲毛の百名店
稲毛駅近くのカレー百名店です。
店構えは、完全にインドで、当然、インド人の方が経営しているのかと思いきや、どうやら、日本人の方のようです。辛さも、完全に、日本人仕様で全く辛くはありません。子供でも十分食べられる辛さ。カレー好きにはちょっと物足りません。インドカレーは辛口には変更できず、スタンダードな辛さでしたが、もうちょっと辛さが欲しかった。チキンカレーは、辛口に変更できるようなので次回はチキンカレーの辛口にしてみます。ライスも日本米で、日本人仕様。これは嬉しい。
お店は大変綺麗にされており、カレー自体は美味しいので、再度トライしてみます。

店名からするとインド人の方が経営しているように思いますが、柴田さんという日本人の方が創業されたようです。
メニューも店構えもインド風ですが、味は日本人向けのカレーです。ライスも日本米で、カレーもメニューは豊富ですが、バターチキンなどの典型的なインドメニューがなかったり、スープ状のカレーも多い。今日はモロヘイヤカレーを注文しました。前回、同じ中辛のビーフカレーがそれほど辛くはなかったので、今回は辛口(50円)にしました。
辛口は結構、辛く、中辛とはだいぶ違うなという印象でした。
ただ、スープ状のカレーとしては、いまいちパンチ不足で、そこまでのインパクトはなく、普段使いのカレーという位置づけです。
