On my oden tour, this time I'm in Funabashi. Chiba Prefecture is the first area where I have covered oden. The first one is Kaze no Ko. This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in a private house a little south of the downtown area of Funabashi Station. The store seems to have rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, and the 1st floor has 6 seats around the counter. There were tables arranged around it, and it was small, as you would expect at an oden restaurant. The 2nd floor is for banquets and is probably quite spacious. Are you a regular customer that day? It looks like a downtown area in the Kanto region, with Chikuwabu and Suji (shark). The oden soup stock also has the taste of Kanto.
