とある平日の夜。
魚介を食べたいと思い、食べログで検索して訪問しました。
考えてみれば、船橋市場があるのにその周辺で美味しい魚介食堂が無いのはなぜでしょう。
こちらのお店は船橋市場の目の前にあり、何やら”独自の熟成「塩氷水真空熟成法」で魚の旨味を最大化”しているとの事。
入店すると、魚介専門店っぽさはなく、明るいカフェの様な雰囲気です。
メニューとにらめっこして以下を注文しました。
①海鮮丼3000円(ご飯半分でオーダー)
②カンパチ1000円
③かきフライ600円
④なめろう1000円
海鮮丼は食べたいけれども、他の物にも興味があるのでご飯は半分でオーダーする事に。海鮮丼は確かにマグロが無い。様々な白身魚が並んでおり、どれも旨みが強め。でもなぜか臭みはあまり感じません。カンパチも同様ですね。氷温熟成のなせる技なのでしょうか。カキフライは大粒の牡蠣を使用していてなかなかお値打ちなのではないでしょうか。なめろう1000円は高い気もしましたが、生姜や葱の歯ごたえもあり、ちゃんと丁寧に手作りしていると思います。ただ、個人的な好みとしては、熟成で旨みを引き出したものよりも鮮度が高いゴリゴリした食感重視なので、この点数となりました。ではなぜこの熟成の旨み重視のお店に来たかと言うと、もしかしたら熟成の良さを理解できるかもしれないという期待があったからです。熟成好みの方にはオススメできるお店かと思います。
