Part 431 of the meal series at work. Today I had to visit a customer in Kashiwa, so I wanted to grab some lunch quickly beforehand, so I decided to go to Kyo◯, which was on the way. The store is located along the west exit main street west of Kashiwa Station, with a stylish blue logo on the exterior, and you can go underground. The inside of the store was stylish, and although it was dimly lit, it was a large space with a counter, table seats, and perhaps a tatami room. By the way, there was a toilet and smoking area near the underground exit. When I visited, it was just before 1pm, so it wasn't crowded, but there were quite a few customers, some drinking lunch. The store clerk was a woman in the hall and was very accommodating. Today I ordered a set meal of fried chicken (6 pieces) (large serving of rice). The food arrived after about 10 minutes of waiting. I couldn't decide between fried chicken and fried oysters, which were extremely good value for money, so I ended up choosing fried chicken first and a large serving of rice. The set meal also comes with miso soup and pickles. The main dish, fried chicken, had a crispy texture and a good seasoning, but it also came with tartar sauce and ayu linjyi sauce, making it a satisfying Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lunch with a variety of flavors and good value for money. I would like to eat at other nearby restaurants, but I would like to come again.
