Since our founding, we have been receiving comments such as "If you're planning a memorial service, choose Hakkutei Toyo Branch" because of our gardens that are tended to daily by skilled gardeners, the heartfelt food prepared by our veteran chefs, the hospitality of our long-time veteran employees, as well as our "one of the few restaurants in the Saijo area that can accommodate large groups" and our vast parking lot. In terms of price alone, we may be inferior to other restaurants, but if you are thinking of holding a formal gathering in memory of the deceased and the guests who will be attending, please leave it to Hakkutei.

At Hakkutei Toyo, Japanese and Western chefs work hard every day to prepare the food. Hakkutei's specialty, fried chicken, is made by butchering tens of kilograms of chicken early in the morning, rubbing it thoroughly with a secret seasoning, so much so that at the peak of the New Year and Obon seasons, the chefs get tendonitis. The dishes created by the efforts and skills of these professional chefs cannot be produced by chain restaurants where anyone can cook by simply heating up pre-cooked ingredients.
