Trout and salmon are said to only grow in environments with water temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius, but the low water temperature of Fukui's sea is perfect for their growth. Every year between April and May, trout salmon that have grown up to 2 kg are landed. ~Fukui salmon has a unique fatty texture and firm flesh.
