JR福井駅から徒歩10分、福井県内最大の歓楽街である福井・片町の一角にある深夜営業のみのそば屋。20時開店で平日は深夜2時、週末は深夜3時まで営業。飲んだ後の締めにサクッと手軽にそばを食べる店名通りのお店。
片町周辺をぐるっと歩いてみたが、歓楽街の割にラーメン店が少なく、夜遅くまで営業しているそば屋が何軒かあったので福井市民は飲みの締めはそば派なのかもしれない。
福井名物のおろしそば(700円)をチョイス。福井駅前のいくつかのおそば屋さんで越前おろしそばをいただいて、他のお店ではお猪口におろしつゆがついてきたが、こちらのおろしそばは最初からぶっかけスタイル。たっぷりの鰹節とネギがトッピング。
殻ごと引いた色味の濃い玄そばにたっぷりのおろしがかかったみぞれ状のつゆ。キリッとした辛味の強い大根おろしで胃腸が元気に感じ。締めラーメンより断然健康的だな。締めのつもりが、もう一軒飲みに行けそうだ。
