Makai is a kappo restaurant located just one street west of Katamachi Main Street. It's hard to eat snow crab and seiko, so I'm looking forward to this zubo crab (water crab) more than anything. It's fresh because it's boiled after it arrives. There's no need for crab vinegar, and when the meat falls off easily, it's sweet! . It's so delicious that you'll be surprised how sweet it can be. The sashimi platter is so fresh that the squid is still moving. I like that they have interesting types of sours that you won't find anywhere else. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
