A Seafood Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Katamachi, Fukui's downtown area. I'm so grateful to go on a business trip alone on Friday. It's full of locals and has the atmosphere of a popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but Seafood is delicious. Speaking of Fukui, it is sweet shrimp. However, on this day, there was a larger shrimp sashimi. Less than 10 fish cost less than 1,000 yen, which is unique to local production for local consumption. Even if you defrost it, the quantity and taste are a good deal. When you dip the plump, sweet flesh in wasabi soy sauce and suck on it with shrimp miso, you'll be craving hot sake. The shellfish sashimi was also a big hit. It is valuable to be able to eat it as sashimi rather than boiled. The scent of the ocean and the crunchy texture make this a sake thief. You can feel different textures depending on the part. The grilled heshiko was very salty, so I only needed a little bit, but it was a bit large. I drank too much sake, in a good way. We stayed so long that we didn't after-party. I think Seafood changes depending on the season, so I would like to stop by when I come to Fukui. I'm glad I came to Katamachi instead of finishing in front of the station.
