ChefChef Horiuchi is the third Japanese chef to be crowned number one in the world.
Born in Kyoto in 1988. After working at L'Osier in Ginza and Signature at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, moved to France. He trained at star-rated Restaurants such as ``Sur Mesure Part Thierry Marx,'' and after returning to Japan, he worked as an assistant chef at ``Estelle'' at Palace Hotel Tokyo and moved to Fukui. He won the prestigious award "54th International Signature Cuisine Competition" and became the third Japanese person to win the world's number one award.
