When I go on an expedition, one of the joys of traveling these days is being able to enjoy local beef. This was my third time going to Fukui, and up until now I had mainly eaten Seafood. This time, I found a restaurant near my hotel that says you can eat Wakasa beef! Let's go check it out! I asked. After arriving, I was guided to a small table for two people. When I looked around the restaurant, there were a lot of empty seats, which was a bit of a shame (there were empty seats until I left).An added bonus is that you can order the all-you-can-drink menu even if it's not a course! As a result, it ended up being a lot cheaper. However, the all-you-can-drink beer is Kirin, so at first I ordered an additional Asahi bottled beer.The menu didn't mention Wakasa beef, so I asked and was excited to hear that basically everything is Wakasa beef! The assorted tongue and fillet were all delicious. The appetizers were also very delicious, and I was told that if I chose the grilled shabu, I could order other appetizers as well, which I thought was a good idea. I would like to stop by again next time I go.
