平日のお昼前に東尋坊へ行ったあとで訪問、東尋坊からは三国港を通り、三国神社の近くにある。同じ敷地には"ざ・漁師街"というド派手なパチンコ店もあるため駐車場は広い。
ランチ営業は11:30からで少し前に到着したところ、まだ開店しておらず待つことに。15分ほどして、ちらほらお客さんも並び始めたのに開店する様子がない、定休日でも無いようだしどうしたものか。
電話をしたら準備に時間が掛かっているそうで、とりあえず開けてもらい中に入ることに。店内はカウンター9席とテーブル席もあって20人ほどは入れそう。
観光客らしきグループやサラリーマンの姿もある。かなり慌ただしい様子で準備が進められており、時間が掛かりそう。とりあえずメニュー眺めながら注文を決める。
ランチメニューがあり、漬け丼が680円から、1,000円台が中心で、ウニいくら丼が3,500円と色々ある。この時期だと越前名物のセイコガニを使ったセイコ丼2,800円も気になるところ。
今回は、その日の店に仕入れた寿司ネタ全部を盛り付ける「漁火丼 1,890円」にしてみる。すべてのメニューにあら汁と小鉢が付く。お茶飲みながら気長に待つことさらに30分ほどで提供あり。
大きめのお皿に溢れんばかりのお魚が乗る、メインは甘エビで大ぶりな4尾、隠れて見えにくいがカニ、マグロ、ひかりもの、イクラやスジコ、とにかく種類は多い。
食べていくと甘エビは甘さがあってトロトロで美味しいし、他のネタも新鮮。酢飯も意外と多くてボリュームある文字通り豪快な漁師めしといった丼だった。お会計にはPayPayが使える。
