観光客というより地元の人が通うほど人気なお蕎麦屋さん。
手打ちの十割蕎麦をベースに、福井ならではの郷土料理というか、福井方式でいただけます。
お蕎麦なので回転は早いですが、店内はそれほど広くないため待ちます。
システムが全くわからない４人組、お店の方に相談。
・丸くたまになった蕎麦が、１合＝１玉で出てくる
・大ざるは「おろし」「けんぞう」の２種類を味わえる
・足りなかったら後から追加注文できる
との情報をもとに、大ざる８合（6320円）を注文。
登場したお蕎麦、すごいです！
ぬめりを感じる蕎麦の舌ざわりがきもちよく、風味もバツグンな食べごたえ。
なんだったら、そのまま蕎麦だけで食べていても…なんて思うほど。
でも２通りで食べてみましょう。
●おろしそば
大根おろしが入った特製だし汁をお蕎麦の上からかけて食べるもの。
思ってたほど、大根おろし辛くないです。
なんだったら甘味を感じるほどで、普通に美味しくいただけます。
●けんぞうそば
辛味大根のしぼり汁に特製だし醤油を入れ、お蕎麦をつけて食べるもの。
これがまた辛い！
美味しい辛みで、薬味をつけずに大根おろしだけでも鼻にツンとくるレベル。
これはクセになります！
最後おろしに戻ると甘さすら感じるほど。
蕎麦湯をのむ頃には、あんなに辛かったはずなのに甘く感じてます。
すごい。
せっかくなので、”けなるいプリン”（490円）も追加注文。
“けなるい”って、福井の方言でうらやましいという意味。
ベースは、めっちゃなめらかなそば茶入りプリン。
そのうえに濃いそば茶入りミルクのソフトをたっぷりのせて。
そばの実パウダーをふりかけ、そばの実せんべいを添えて完成。
これでもか！というくらい蕎麦を加えたデザートは、豊かすぎる蕎麦の香り。
これも美味しすぎです♡
プリンは人気商品らしく、すぐに売り切れになるのだとか。
私たちも、蕎麦の注文前にお取り置きしてもらいました。
永平寺の蕎麦って有名だけど、このお店は山間ではなく住宅地にあるもの。
かなりイメージ違ってたけど、間違いのない美味しさ。
行列ができるのも納得です！
