The thirteenth installment of the restaurant support project...lunch Bento (boxed lunch) from a long-established traditional Japanese restaurant!!!
As a measure against COVID-19, everywhere has become focused on takeaway and delivery. As you know, I personally believe that nothing beats the taste of food in a restaurant, in addition to hygiene issues, so I have not been able to venture into the "intermediate meal" realm. However, this would mean a break from eating blogging, so I am enjoying my Bento (boxed lunch) journey within the scope of COVID-19 self-restraint (*^^)v This time, I chose [b:"Ryotei Nakamatsu"] in Sabae City. It is a long-established restaurant (established in 1931) located on the side of the approach to Shofu Shrine. I called to make a reservation the day before, expecting a Bento (boxed lunch) that I would not normally be able to enjoy, and the proprietress of a ryotei responded very politely. At the very end, she asked me, "Are you okay with allergies?" This was the first time I had been asked this at a restaurant I had made a reservation at. I went to pick up [b:"Oimatsu"] for 2,000 yen (excluding tax) at 5pm on the Sunday I made the reservation. The "Oimatsu Menu" that I ordered had the following written on it: [b:※Appetizer] ... Rolled egg, Boiled tiger prawn, Pickled lotus root, Boiled plum shell with ginger, Grilled Spanish mackerel with yuan sauce, Dutch mackerel, Salt-grilled scallop, Asparagus bacon, Boiled duck loin, Matsukaze egg, Kosode kamaboko [b:※ Simmered dish] ... Deep-fried and boiled eggplant, Boiled yam, Uranchi, Vegetable hirousu, Boiled Nanking, Boiled millet gluten, Boiled soft octopus, Green beans [b:※Sashimi] ... Swordfish, Natural sea bream with kelp, Spear squid, Wasabi, Garnish [b:※Fried dishes] ... Shrimp rice crackers, Maitake mushrooms, Sweet potato, Green chili peppers, Lemon, Umami salt [b:※Meal] ... Chicken and Maitake mushroom rice, Mitsuba, Pickles. The kaiseki cuisine that is normally enjoyed slowly in a tatami room, is all contained in one Bento (boxed lunch) box, making it a treasure trove of food from a long-established restaurant that is very satisfying. We are grateful for all the patronage. ~~~~~~~~~~ 【Information on the new coronavirus outbreak in Fukui Prefecture: number of tests and results】 As of 9:00 a.m., February 17th to April 30th, total number of tests: 1,690 Total number of positive cases: 122

PR for restaurants |
We welcome you with the atmosphere of a long-established establishment.
Located in the midst of a charming townscape, beside the approach to Shofu Shrine, this restaurant has a modest presence backed by history. The seasonal dishes, which allow you to feel the subtle chan |
For a while after I, an uneducated and shallow person, post a long piece of writing, I feel quite superior regardless of the Bento (boxed lunch). But there is also a sense of fatigue. So I will keep Bento (boxed lunch) Bento (boxed lunch) as well. ~~ ... I made a reservation at Nakamatsu and went to pick up the same Oimatsu that I had tasted at 5pm on the last day of the holidays. The Oimatsu menu that I had requested, just like last time, was written as follows: [b:※Appetizers] ... Rolled egg, stewed kuruma prawns with bamboo shoots, pickled lotus root, stewed plum shell with ginger, grilled horse mackerel with yuan sauce, reins konnyaku, kosode kamaboko, egg Matsukaze, asparagus bacon, grilled scallops with salt. [b:※ Simmered dish] ... Deep-fried and stewed eggplant, boiled white yam, Uranchi, vegetable hirousu, simmered whole carrots, simmered Nanking shrimp, boiled bamboo shoots in Tosa style, kidney beans. [b:※Sashimi] ... Swordfish, spear squid, sweet shrimp, wasabi, garnish. [b:※Fried dishes] ... Deep-fried shrimp and potato, Maitake mushrooms, sweet potato, green chili pepper, salt. [b:※Meal] ... Chicken and Uranchi rice, cucumber bran. Naturally, some of the dishes have changed since the last time ten days ago. This time, the kaiseki cuisine that is normally enjoyed slowly in a tatami room was all packed into one Bento (boxed lunch) box, and it was a treasure trove of food from a long-established restaurant that was very satisfying. Among them, the most popular dish for our family was the three "chicken and rice cooked with uranji". My family and I are grateful for all the flavors we enjoyed.
