福井県敦賀市でのランチ。「やっぱり海鮮ものですよね」ということで『日本海さかな街』をリサーチ。17軒ある飲食店から、食べログ評点の高い店を予めピックアップ。
お目当ての店が休業でしたので、二番手の当店へ。店の内外ともに煌びやかな海鮮の写真を見ると、食欲が掻き立てられます。
メニュー表の "オリジナル丼（殿堂入り）" のページに載った値段の高い方を注文。

期待を膨らませて待ってからの着丼。
「？？？」
まず、見た目の鮮度感のなさとボリューム感のなさに内心驚愕。店内の眩いばかりの写真との落差が大き過ぎます。
実際に食しても然り…
若狭湾にほど近いロケーション。釧路の和商市場のようなクオリティを期待していたのですが…
このような観光化され過ぎのビジネスモデルの危うさを、今さらながら思い知らされた次第です。
