This restaurant is located in a residential area. I've been interested in it for a while. I took my daughter and her mother to visit. Inside the restaurant, there is a tatami room and a counter. There seems to be a private room in the back. It seems quite spacious. Since it's 1/2, they said they can't do the nigiri Sushi lunch. There seem to be a variety of set meals. I guess I'll go for the Taku lunch after all? Lol. It's ¥1,480 including tax. Small dish are New Year's-style kelp rolls, herring roe, and lotus root, and the sashimi is yellowtail, which is fatty. My daughter's favorite, the boiled fish, is well seasoned. Is this also yellowtail? The chawanmushi is also delicious. The Tempura must be good, as the tempura has large shrimp, which are crispy. We have it with matcha salt. The only disappointment is the salad. Only shredded cabbage! I wish there were at least some cucumber or tomato pieces. For dessert, we had vanilla ice cream. For an additional ¥200, you can also add a coffee or soft drink. Next time I'd like to try Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu.
