"Taku" is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and Japanese dining establishment located in a residential area on the outskirts of Tsuruga City. My goal today is the lunchtime-only "Taku Lunch" for 1,780 yen. It's quite a luxurious meal, with Tempura Simmered dish, salad, chawanmushi, and even dessert. Today's sashimi is horse mackerel, red sea bream, seared Spanish mackerel, and yellowtail. The yellowtail radish and miso soup are made with the fish bones, making for a delicious and reasonably priced lunch. It was a very good value lunch. It's small, but it's a convenient place to casually dine both day and night.
